My favourite Gaston restaurant is hosting a Lobster Madness menu starting next week March 08, 2021! I’m sharing their menu here for you to take a look, hope you guys can join us!

Also have you heard the news? They just opened a new food experience at Qualicum Beach!

The Qualicum Beach Café is nestled inside the Qualicum Beach Inn, the QBC showcases all that the West Coast has to offer – including its beautiful ocean views!

The Qualicum Beach Café will host you, its guests, with genuine care and the best Vancouver Island hospitality experience. General Manager, Amy Turner, and her Front of House Team will make sure that each visit is a memorable one. Executive Chef and Owner, Alan, and Chef de Cuisine, Todd have crafted you a West Coast menu with fresh seafood, local ingredients, and a dash of Italian influence. There are also many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu items to choose from and enjoy.

As Owners of the Water St Café and now Operators of the Qualicum Beach Café, Eli Brennan and Chef Alan Tse bring with them more than 20 years of restaurant experience and they are excited to breathe new life into what once was the CView restaurant at the Qualicum Beach Inn. The Qualicum Beach Café will be the pair’s second location, their first being the Water St. Café in the historic neighbourhood of Gastown in Downtown Vancouver.

Voted best Gastown Restaurant in Georgia Straight’s Golden Plates awards in 2019, it’s been a Vancouver staple since 1988.

As small business owners themselves, Eli and Alan take great pride in supporting local, including local BC wine, beer, and spirits, locally and sustainably produced ingredients, and local community charities. They also launched Vancouver’s newest music venue in 2018, the 2nd Floor Gastown, which has weekly jazz nights and evening dinner music from local artists.

Fresh, local ingredients and an ocean view – the Qualicum Beach Café has it all. When asked what excites him most about this new venture, Eli says he looks forward to “working with the local suppliers and community to bring a unique and special hospitality experience to Qualicum and the surrounding area…let’s have some fun!!”. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook at @qualicumbeachcafe for all things QBC, including a link to their online reservation site. You can even reserve a coveted spot in the heated covered patio!
