If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you have noticed that we are a very active family. Almost every weekend we have something going on. We love exploring all the beautiful places around Vancouver, specially our local farms.
This summer, we hit like 5 different farms and the kids love them! Vancouver and the surrounding areas have so many amazing hidden places, and now that September is around the corner, I think is time for me to share our top 3 farms to visit this fall. Whether you live in the area or plan on visiting Vancouver, these are a few places that us locals LOVE!
Maan Farm
We discovered Maan’s farm this summer and love it! This incredible farm is not only fun for the adults (their wine is to DIE for!) but it’s also a great spot for the kids. Maan’s is located in Abbotsford and are well known for their goat yoga and awesome berries! They have different stages for kids to play: Zipline, playgrounds, jumping pillow, pedal go-karts, petting zoo, slides & swings and even a spider web.
We recently went back to check their sunflower festival and corn maze. They had so many stages for us to take pictures while enjoying their delicious farm made lunch. I just have to said that every time we go there, we receive an incredible customer service. They always treat us like they know us and make us feel at home.
Taves farm
Another great discover! We went to Taves farms back in Easter and we love it so much that we decided to come back for their applebarn. They have so many great activities for their kids: Hay rides, pony rides, corn maze, apple picking, pumpkin patch, petting barn and more. They will be celebrating their 29 years this fall!
This farm is also located in beautiful Abbotsford and is a must visit! If you go there, please don’t live without trying their apple cider slushies, believe me, they are GOOD!
Krause Berry Farm
We have hit Krause’s since mia was literally 3 weeks old lol! This farm looks like one of those you see in the books. We usually get our pumpkins from there, and the kids LOVE their train ride around the farm. They are famous for their waffles and awesome berry pies. I have to say that my personal favourite are their sangrias lol! This farm is located in Langley and I recommend you to get there early as it gets very packed!
