I feel that every weekend there is something going on. From movies in the park, to festivals, farm visits and more.
Next weekend the largest airshow in Canada is happening: The Abbotsford International Airshow!
This family friendly annual event will be taking place from August 9 to 11, 2019 at the Abbotsford International Airport. We will get to see 340,000 sq-ft of diverse aircraft ground displays including modern military aircraft, historic warbirds, commercial and general aviation.
There is also going to be interactive activities, entertainment, fireworks (Friday) and of course, food trucks!
Some of the performers this year include the USAF Thunderbirds, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, the CF-18 Demo Team and others. Single-day admission go from $25-$35. Members of the military are free, as are children under 6 years of age.
