Things to do in Seattle

I love going to Seattle, it’s such a short trip from home and I’m such a fan of Grey’s anatomy lol. We usually go once a year, during fall, and is beautiful!

Back in May, Francisco decided to surprise with a getaway for Mother’s Day.

We had so many plans, however, Francisco got sick so we couldn’t do the typical tourist places. I was a little bit disappointed that we would not take Mia to the space needle, however, everything turned out amazing. We got the chance to do different stuff and explore places we have never been before.

First, we stayed in the beautiful hotel Sorrento. I didn’t know exist. It was so old fashion, close by the pier. They had wine testing, a beautiful outside patio, music and the vibe was just fun.

I always wanted to take a ride in Seattle’s great wheel, so we did! The ride is 15 minutes and you get to enjoy a wonderful view of downtown Seattle, Elliott Bat, West Seattle and the Pier. They have climate-controlled cars so even if the weather is hot, you are ok.

After our ride I wanted to take a look to this famous vegan ice cream place. We were not disappointed at all! The place is called “Frankie & Jo’s. They have so many flavours to die for, like horchata (Mexican drink), tahini super cookie, date shake and more. Those ice creams are to die for, and if you are in Seattle it is a must!

The plan was to have a nice dinner at the patio of the hotel; however, Francisco was not feeling well. He and the kids stayed at the room and I went outside looking for some tacos lol! I found this small Mexican restaurant just 2 blocks away from the hotel called “Little Neon Taco” and my GAD! I ate the most delicious corn with cheese ever! My mouth is just watering thinking about it lol.

Next day, we were trying to get a table on my favourite restaurant for brunch but it was so busy, we ended up at the local. If you haven’t tried them, they have the best huevos rancheros in town!

If you ever have the chance to explore Seattle, I truly recommend you these places! What is your favourite thing about Seattle?
