I can’t believe we are more than a half way to 2020. Summer is here and one of my favourite holidays too, Canada Day!
As a proud Mexican-Canadian, we always like to do something special this day. We would usually spend this day somewhere camping. Sometimes we head to downtown Vancouver to see the fireworks, but guess what? This year we would not going to have to drive that far, as City of Surrey is preparing a BIG party!
Surrey Canada Day presented by Coast Capital savings will have a FREE admission, and it will run from 10am-11pm on Monday July 1 at Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre in Cloverdale. If you can keep your kids awake, the fireworks are going to be around 10:30 PM.
They are going to be featuring Our Lady Peace, Bif Naked, The hip Show, The Wonders, Her Brothers, Ache Brasil, Wild Moccasins and Vancity Bhangra.
There is going to be country music, bull riding, inflatable corn maze, four stages, food trucks, exhibitors and rides. For our kids we will have crafts, games, jessie Farrell, Rockin’ Robin and lots of activities!
I will definitely be there with my family enjoying some poutine and maple ice cream! See you there my loves!
